Samaritan's Purse mobilizes staff and equipment and enlists thousands of volunteers to provide emergency aid to victims of tornadoes, hurricanes, wildfires, floods, and other natural disasters in the United States. They often stay behind after their initial response to rebuild or restore houses for needy families.
Samaritan's Purse is actively providing relief throughout Watauga County where they are headquartered in Boone, NC. Their response extends around Buncombe County, which includes Asheville, Black Mountain, Montreat, and Swannanoa.

VALLEY HOPE CHURCH
(Located in Swannanoa, NC)
Valley Hope is a small church located in Swannanoa (Asheville), an area absolutely devastated by floodwaters in the wake of Hurricane Helene.
Residents in the area have lost homes, loved ones, and entire livelihoods.
The needs of this community are great, and Valley Hope is actively working to address the needs of its neighbors by providing critical resources like food, water, supplies, sanitation, and more to the suburb of Swannanoa.
Donations to Valley Hope will help directly support the people of Swannanoa by funding continued relief efforts and outreach by the church, as the ever changing needs of the community continue to evolve. Valley Hope is committed to lovingly and prayerfully serving its neighbors and will continue to extend services and supplies to those in need, as they work hand in hand with the local community to rebuild.
